The origins of SHAN ZU

Born from the heart of a passionate cook, SHAN ZU began as a dream. Our founder, a passionate chef, was frustrated by the knives available on the market. They were either exorbitantly priced or of mediocre quality. He envisioned a brand that would offer the best of both worlds: an affordable price and uncompromising quality. And so SHAN ZU was born.

 Our name, SHAN ZU, comes from a renowned ancient Chinese chef. She mastered shan shi, healthy recipes, and created many famous recipes. It reflects our commitment to showing kindness in every interaction and mastery in every knife we make.

Each SHAN ZU knife is meticulously crafted by blade experts in a state-of-the-art factory located in YangJiang, China, a city with a rich history of knife manufacturing.
