I have purchased one of your whetstones which I like very much, the coarse side is 1000 grit, the fine side is 6000.
Along with the stone came an angle guide which for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set the angle I wish to achieve! I see no gradation guide, no mark to show my angle, I use 20 degrees. I like the idea of this item but I don’t like to guess my angle, I wish it to be perfect.

I noticed you mentioned oil as a very good lubricant, I use a pocket one in the field. What a lot of folks don’t understand is that once you use oil, you can’t go back to water. Too many folks new to this method have no idea & could ruin their stone.
