SHAN ZU Recruitment Privacy Policy
I. Introduction
1.1 This Recruitment Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) explains how YAN ZHEN Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we”; “us” “SHAN ZU”) collects, uses, shares, transfers and protects the personal information of the applicant (hereinafter referred to as “you”) during the recruitment for itself and for its business partners as entrusted.
1.2 SHAN ZU acts as a data controller or joint data controller in the aforementioned recruitment.
II. Types of Personal Information Collected by SHAN ZU during Recruitment
2.1 During recruitment, SHAN ZU will collect your personal information in accordance with the law, including but not limited to your name, gender, nationality, place of origin, identity card number, passport number, phone number, messaging service account number, e-mail, mailing address, educational background, work experience, family member information, self-evaluation, and other personal information in the resume and/or interview voluntarily submitted by the applicant.
2.2 The personal information of the applicant collected by SHAN ZU may vary according to the legal requirements or transnational nature of the recruitment. However, any such will be collected based on the minimisation principle.
III. Purpose and Legal Basis for SHAN ZU Collecting Personal Information of the Applicant
3.1 The information of the applicant collected by SHAN ZU is mainly used for the following purposes:
(1) Determining the applicant’s personal identity;
(2) Understanding the applicant’s educational background and work experience;
(3) Talent assessment;
(4) Assessing whether the applicant is competent for the proposed position;
(5) Contacting the applicant.
3.2 The legal basis for the processing of the applicant’s personal information by SHAN ZU is the necessity for the performance of a contract and/or for the protection of legitimate interests. If the applicant does not provide SHAN ZU with the personal information specified herein, SHAN ZU cannot assess whether the applicant is competent for the proposed position or make the decision to hire.
3.3 SHAN ZU will not use the personal information of the applicant for purposes other than those as set out above.
IV. Third-party Service Companies and Transnational Data Transfer
4.1 SHAN ZU usually cooperates with recruitment service providers, including releasing recruitment information through recruitment websites, searching applicant information from third-party recruitment websites, using third-party talent assessment tools, and using third-party recruitment systems to process applicant information.
4.2 If you submit application information to SHAN ZU via the platform of a third-party service provider, your personal information will be processed by both SHAN ZU and the third-party service provider. Both the privacy policies of the third-party service provider and SHAN ZU will be applicable.
4.3 If a business partner of SHAN ZU that is located outside China entrusts SHAN ZU with the recruitment, your personal information will be transferred to SHAN ZU headquarters in China; if SHAN ZU purchases a recruitment service in a third country, your application information will also be processed in China.
V. Processing of Personal Information after the Recruitment
5.1 If you are employed by SHAN ZU or any of its business partners, the personal information you submit during the recruitment will be kept as a file by SHAN ZU and its business partner(s);
5.2 If you are not employed by SHAN ZU or any of its business partners, SHAN ZU and its business partner will determine a legal and reasonable period of time for the destruction of your personal information.
VI. Additional Provisions on Processing of Personal Data
6.1 This Policy is an integral part of SHAN ZU Privacy Policy. Matters not specified herein shall be subject to SHAN ZU Privacy Policy. For more provisions of SHAN ZU on the processing of personal information, please refer to the SHAN ZU Privacy Policy.
